- There will be a 7 round minor league draft each off-season.
- Draft order will be determined by regular season record and playoff results (for the playoff teams). The winner of the consolation bracket will receive a sandwich pick between the 1st and 2nd round.
- Draft will be a slow draft using the Pro Boards to facilitate the draft.
- Each team will have 24 hours to make their pick. If a team does not make their pick within 24 hours, they will be skipped and the pick can be made up at any time.
- If a team has more picks than available minor league roster space, the team will forfeit the extra picks once they reach the maximum number of 30 players on their 30 man minor league roster.
- The following below is the criteria for minor league draft eligibility:
* Hitter/pitcher must be affiliated with an MLB team prior to start of draft and not already owned by a team in Big League Dynasty.
* Hitter must have 130 or less career MLB at bats.
* Pitcher must have 50 or less career MLB innings pitched.
* Any player that’s a Latin American international signing (must be signed and affiliated with an MLB team prior to start of draft).
* Any player that’s an Asian international signing with no professional
experience (Korean Baseball Organization, Nippon Professional Baseball,
Taiwan and must be signed and affiliated with an MLB team prior to start of draft).
- The following players are NOT eligible for the minor league draft and are eligible for the off-season auction (and initial league startup draft):
