Post any rules enhancements/suggestions here by replying to this post. Reasonable suggestions will be considered and put to a league vote to determine if a rule suggestion gets implemented.
Please post any suggestions by December 15.
Thanks!

Hi guys,
I'd like to propose two changes to the way we manage our minor league rosters.
First, I propose we expand the rosters from 25 to 40. There are so many good, young minor leaguers these days and using minor leaguers adds a fun strategic element. I suggest we expand from 25 to 32 this year, and then to 40 the following season.
Second, I propose that we allow 2 minor league players per month to be added (and dropped) during the regular season.
Thanks,
Jeff

I propose we allow trading of cap dollars for current season only.
Reason: an additional avenue for re-building teams to accelerate the process by trading expensive vets for long term assets.
Limiting to current season only prevents a manager from trashing his team for the future before bailing on the league.

However the adding of MiLB players monthly may need some "Special Rules". I would be very disappointed losing out on new International signings and MLB draftees because I was occupied with family or work.

I read the rule under "salary" that said no trading of cap dollars, but missed the "Coverage Trade" section. No change necessary.

Additional rules around this would have to be implemented if we allow adding of minor leaguers. For example, current season international signings and MLB draft class prospects would not be eligible to be claimed as a minor leaguer until the following season (or off season minor league draft).

Second, I propose that we allow 2 minor league players per month to be added (and dropped) during the regular season. Thanks, Jeff Hey Jeff, Thanks for the suggestions! I'm open to expanding the minor league rosters. However, I do think we want to keep it at a reasonable amount. I'm willing to consider an increase to 30 for now and see how that goes for a while. I'm also open to allowing a small amount of in-season minor league add/drops, but I still want the primary focus on major league add/drops during the season and I still want the off season minor league draft to retain importance. I will propose to the league that we allow 3 minor league add/drops during the season (can be used anytime throughout the regular season). Once you make 3 add/drops, you can no longer make anymore minor league add/drops during the season. I will post these two rule suggestions (expansion of minors to 30 and 3 in-season minor league add/drops) for league vote in the coming days.

The trade coverage rule covers your proposal.

Hi Everyone,
I understand that its too late for this year but for next year I'd like to propose changing the pitching category "Wins" to "Quality Starts" instead. I think QS better defines an individual pitcher then Wins do.
