Hey everyone,

In a few days, Fantrax will let me convert the league into the 2018 season. This will allow me to set up the draft for October 20. As a reminder, we will host the 25 rd MLB draft on Fantrax and we will complete that draft first. The minors draft will follow after the conclusion of the MLB draft. We will complete the minors draft here on the Pro Boards.

I plan to have the rules posted no later than October 12. If I can get them out sooner, I will post them right away. But expect to see them around October 10-12.

Thanks everyone for your patience! We're almost ready to get this league started and I'm really looking forward to it!

Rules are coming soon, hopefully by end of week/weekend.

Have you thought about how to handle an illegal draft pick, like a minors eligible player chosen in the majors draft?

I think the simplest answer is that the manager "loses" that pick: the draft continues, and at the end of the draft that player must be dropped and replaced from the remaining FA pool.

What do you think?

New York Yankees: Yeah, I'm not sure if you can actually select minor league draft picks through Fantrax at the moment.
