- There will be a 30 man minor league roster.
- You are not required to fill all 30 spots. This is just the maximum number of minor leaguers that you can have on your team at any time.
- As stated in the Roster Structure portion of the rules, you can promote a minor leaguer from your minor league roster to your 25 man roster at any time, provided they have been promoted by their real life MLB team and are currently an active member of the team’s real life 25 man roster.
- You can also demote a minor leaguer from your 25 man roster back to your 30 man minor league roster at any time.
- Once a player on your 30 man minor league roster eligible for promotion/demotion reaches 500 AB / 100 IP for their MLB career, they will no longer be eligible for promotion/demotion to the minors beginning next season and must be permanently promoted to your 25 man roster before the start of the next season. For example: If I have Victor Robles on my 30 man minor league roster, I can promote/demote him during the 2018 season (he is eligible to be promoted/demoted throughout the year as long as he has been promoted by his MLB team and an active member of the real life 25 man roster). If he reaches 500 or more career ABs during the 2018 season, then he will no longer be eligible for promotion/demotion during the 2019 season and must be permanently promoted to my 25 man roster by the off season deadline/roster cutoff date.
- You can promote or release a minor leaguer during the season if you need to create space on your 30 man minor league roster (minor leaguer must be promoted by their real life MLB team and are currently an active member of the team’s real life 25 man roster to be permanently promoted during the season).
- You can promote or release a minor leaguer during the off season if you need to create space on your 30 man minor league roster (minor leaguer must have MLB experience to be permanently promoted during the off season).
