Probably so! I'm game for whatever the league decides. I'll figure it out. The nice thing is we have time!

The MLB draft will be a snake (by default; not sure it's even optional?) with 25 rounds; so if we make the MiLB draft a second phase of the same draft, the order will be naturally be reversed because an odd number of rounds to that point. Problem solved.
We'll all just need to pay attention to whether the players we are drafting are MLB or MiLB eligible, and avoid drafting them in the wrong phase. May need to anticipate a remedy if someone drafts an ineligible player, because it will happen.

MILB draft on pro board and everyone just goes in and add their players after each pick or whenever they want.

Just need to figure out how Fantrax works and everything. We'll just have to navigate our way through it and learn along the way. I'm gonna see if I can play with a dummy league and see what I can learn. Also, just so everyone knows, I'll be posting the draft order and probable starting date shortly.

Just roll with Dodgers idea, makes things a lot easier. If someone selects a drafted MiLB player in the MLB portion then they lose their pick. Penalty for not exercising due diligence.

what sort of time frame is being anticipated for making selections? 8 hour window or would it need to be longer for those that have work commitments precluding them from getting to a computer? System turned off between midnight and 6AM? Those who know they will be tied up could leave picks with the Comish, likely there's an auto-pick feature that could be used also. If everyone commits to checking email regularly during this process, draft won't have to take months. Am I correct in assuming if a guy has less than 130AB or 50 IP he should be in MiLB phase?

It will be a 24 hr clock. And you're correct....any player with 130 or less abs/50 ip or less would only be eligible for the minors draft.

I think it would be best to hold our MILB draft via Proboards. This is just my opinion.

Could just create another free league & hold the MiLB draft on that because I'm assuming we can only draft players that are in their database. Would probably be the most efficient way for other reasons as well.
